žHow to Pay

Your premiums can be paid by either deductions from your pension (special collection) or ordinary collection by payment slip or bank transfer.
¡Special Collection:
Two months worth of premiums will be deducted from the bi-monthly pension payments of those who have a old-age/retirement pension valued at over 180,000 yen a year. ¡Ordinary Collection:
There are eight payment dates for those with old-age/retirement pensions under 180,000 a year, disability pensions, and survivorfs pensions: January, July, August, September, October, November, December, and January.
2. People between 40 and 65 (Class II-insured)
The premium will be deducted together as a single payment with the premiums for the insurance plan you are currently enrolled in. The way to calculate the value of the premium differs by the insurance plan you are enrolled in. Half of the premium is paid by the insurance company, but the case of the National Health Insurance Plan, the company pays half.
Content of Payments
The payments for home services, nursing care at facilities, high-cost nursing care fees and preventative payments will be conducted as before.
